Photography is a visual art form in which the artist is trying to capture the emotion, the pattern, the color, the enthusiasm, even the movement of an event in a still image. Done right, you the viewer can experience the moment of the event even if you weren't present .
	For my style, I prefer digital photography, althougth I grew up using film for more than 20 years. The digital medium allows me to be in much more control of the quality of the finished image. Digital allows converting a quite ordinary image or background to a striking finished work.
With the improvements in digital technology, even with large prints, it is increasingly more difficult to determine if the source of the photo was digital or film and if the photo was digitally manipulated.
Take time to look through some photos; if you are looking for a photographer, first find one who's work you like. Then examine personality and price. Contrary to many sources, a photographer that provides high quality and extensive experience does not need to 'break the bank'.
