Photography has been a passion for Niles Dening since being introduced to it as a photographer for his high school yearbook. While the technology of photography has changed particularly with the advent of digital cameras, the requirements and abilities to spot good photo opportunities and get quality results has not changed. Mr. Dening has worked in Western New York and Pennsylvania as an award winning school portrait photographer and as the official photographer for the NY State School Music Association Summer Conference with photos published nationally. He is active in photographing area individuals and groups for portrait, publicity and publication purposes. As a sought after wedding photographer, he has photographed special events from Maine to Florida. With digital photography, the need and ability to develop and shape photo files has become as important as the 'darkroom magic skills' of the film photographers. Mr. Dening is well versed in Adobe Photoshop and other digital photographic programs and teaches courses to area educators and yearbook staffs and photo enhancement skills to museum archivists. With his skills in photography and on the computer, Mr. Dening routinely creates special 'fantasy photos' for his clients - superimposing and blending images to create fantastic portraits and posters. |
