Photography has been a passion for Niles Dening since being introduced to it as a photographer for his high school year book . While the technology of photography has changed particularly with the advent of digital cameras, the requirements and abilities to spot good photo opportunities and get quality results has not changed.

Mr. Dening has worked in western New York and Pennsylvania as an award winning school portrait photographer and as the official photographer for the NY State School Music Association Summer Conference with photos published nationally.

He has also photographed several area music ensembles for publicity and publication purposes.

With digital photography, the need and ability to manipulate and shape photo files has become as important as the 'darkroom magic skills' of the film photographers. Mr. Dening is well versed in Adobe Photoshop and teaches courses to area educators and yearbook staffs.
