This web site is part of an ongoing project to preserve the historical photo collection at the Sinclairville Free Library and at the same time make the images and history of Sinclairville, New York, more available to the public.
The original photos of which you see the digital copies on this site were donated to the library by various people, many of which are anonymous. Notations of the donors that were made on the photos have also been digitized and are also made available on this site.

We are eternally grateful to the donors of these photos for helping preserve the history of Sinclairville and Western New York.
Wherever possible, the photos have been dated, sometimes from notations on the photo, sometimes by reading obvious sign in the photos such as licence plate dates, sometimes only by "best guess" estimates based on details of the photos. Likewise, names, where they can be determined are provided as well.
If you have knowledge of details that can aid the accuracy of these materials, please do not hesitate to contact the Sinclairville Free Library.
